Rain Activ delivers new industry low levels of discharge. With peak discharge rates as low as 0.05L/sec, the system provides drainage professionals with an exciting new source method to attenuate storm water at source.

With discharge levels this low, Rain Activ provides a solution for sites that meeting storm attenuation criteria has been previously difficult or impossible. These include smaller developments (1-20 homes) were the rate of storm water is not great enough for effective use of vortex flow control, greenfield and contaminated sites
Rain Activ produces a much flatter discharge curve in comparison to vortex flow control systems. This means the system helps to alleviate flooding in a greater range of storm events.

Due to its high quality filtration Rain Activ can reliably utilise orifices as small as 5mm without risk of blockage.
Rain Activ provides huge cost savings against traditional storm attenuation devices from planning to post installation.
During planning;
- Zero space allocation required, increasing building space.
- Reduce or completely remove space intensive ‘secondary’ SuDS features such as balancing ponds.
- Fully and professionally specified, with bespoke Micro Drainage calculations included.

During installation;
- Arrives to site fully assembled, ready to install.
- Shallow dig tanks (max depth 1.5m) reduce installation costs and risks.
- No concreate required. (Pea gravel backfill.)

As high quality filtration and the tank is already included, the system can be adapted to incorporate rainwater harvesting for a very small additional cost.
